PRESS RELEASE
Value & Risk Appoints Frank Krings as Independent Non-Executive Director in Luxembourg

Value & Risk, the leading European provider of independent valuation services headquartered in Frankfurt am Main, continues to expand its business activities in and out of Luxembourg. Following the establishment of Value & Risk Valuation Services Lux S.à r.l. in 2024, the company announces the appointment of Frank Krings as Independent Non-Executive Director of its Luxembourg subsidiary.
This appointment marks a cornerstone in Value & Risk’s strategic growth in Luxembourg and reinforces its long-term commitment to delivering best-in-class independent valuation services across Europe.
Frank Krings brings over 25 years of leadership experience in the financial sector, with a career spanning three decades across Europe, Asia, and the United States. He has held senior executive and non-executive roles at banks, asset management and investment advisory firms, investment funds, technology firms, and business associations. His previous positions include, among others, CEO for Western Europe at Deutsche Bank Group (2020–2022), President and General Manager of Deutsche Bank France, Chairman of Deutsche Bank Turkey, and CEO of Deutsche Bank Luxembourg S.A. (2016–2020), where he later served on the Supervisory Board until 2024.
He currently serves as external Senior Advisor to several private equity and venture capital-backed companies in the EU, UK, and US, and holds diverse board, general partner, and committee mandates across Luxembourg, France, Switzerland, and the US.
In recognition of his contributions to Luxembourg’s financial centre, Mr. Krings was named Officer of the Order of Merit of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in 2024. He also serves as President of the Luxembourg National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and President of the Arbitration Council in Luxembourg.
“We are delighted to welcome Frank Krings to our board,” said Gil Bender, CEO of Value & Risk. “His leadership and deep regulatory expertise align perfectly with our mission to deliver independent, high-quality valuation services. His experience will be a key asset as we expand across Europe.”
Frank Krings added: “Efficient and effective independent valuation of financial assets — underpinned by robust and compliant technology and processes — is a pivotal tessera of the international financial ecosystem. Value & Risk, much like the Luxembourg financial center, embodies the necessary prerequisites and evidences their scalability. I look forward to driving progress, valuation governance, and client impact alongside the Value & Risk team and its Luxembourg and international co-founders.”
